The PENWELD A external-air welder is suitable for precise plastic welding in apparatus and tank construction. The work light integrated in the handle keeps the welding zone under control even in dark sections.

Bright
The LED work light is integrated into the handle of the PENWELD A and illuminates the welding zone. This keeps the welding process always in view and under control during the application.The light has three positions: off – 50% – 100%

Simple
Operating and setting the Leister PENWELD A hot air welder is particularly easy thanks to the intuitive menu navigation via display.

Agile
The air hose with integrated power cable is lightweight and flexible. Its surface is made of a particularly slippery mesh, reminiscent of snakeskin. This allows the hose to be pulled over edges without resistance during welding. The PENWELD A is available with two Air hose lengths: 3 m and 8 m.

Direct heat
The menu function “Direct Heat” allows the PENWELD to heat up directly as soon as it is supplied with power. This means that one less button needs to be pressed when it is operated with an AIRSTREAM. It also makes integration into a process possible.

Rotable
The free-flowing hose connection enables fatigue-free welding. The rotary passage is unique in its design. It allows a resistance-free rotary movement of 310°.

Logical
The logically designed polygon shaped handle of the PENWELD automatically lies correctly in the hand when working, which supports and simplifies orientation when guiding the device. The square shape fits perfectly into the finger joints.

Accessible
The connection box is designed for easy servicing and connecting. Power cord and plug can be changed with quick lock connector blocks. The box is provided with fixing points.
